ADMINISTRATION

The Department of Indian Systems of Medicine comes under Department of AYUSH Kerala headed by the Secretary.    The Department of Indian Systems of Medicine controlled and administered by the Director.  District administration is controlled by the District Medical Officers

Kannur District Medical Office is situated in Civil Station Additional Block.

Administration Officer – Senior Superintendent

Section Officer – Junior Superintendent, 6 Section Clerks, 1 Typist, 2 Office Attendant, 1 Driver and 1 Part Time Sweeper

Following are the responsibilities of six sections.

A1 Section            -Accounts and Plan fund

A2 Section           – Audit, Pension, Inspection, Travelling Allowance, Department Medicine Distribution

E1 Section            – Establishment of Gazetted Officers

E2 Section           – Establishment of Pharmacist, Therapist, Clerks etc.

E3 Section           – Establishment of Part Time Sweeper, Last Grade Servant, Attender, Nursing Assistant

G Section            – Meeting, Second Medical
