Local Self Government
Now Panchayath Department is one of the major departments of Local Self Government Administration. Director of Panchayat is the State level administrative officer for this department. In the district the Deputy Director of Panchayat is head of the Office. Followed by DDP, Assistant Director, Performanance Audit Supervisor, Gramma Panchayat Secretary, Senior Superientendent, Junior Superientendent Head Clerk, Clerks and Office Attenders are helping in the Office Administration. In Village Panchayats Engineering wing is also performing for the engineering works.
